Describing Characters
Please watch the following clip and describe one of the key characters in this short film. Think carefully about the key features of the character (personality, appearance, emotions..) that are portrayed in the film. Remember to plan your ideas before drafting. Happy writing team!

Tom is a tall, lanky business man who appears to be a wee bit shy when meeting new companions. With a can-do attitude his determination shines through.

Albert The Paperman
ReplyDeleteAs Albert stands motionless at the train station a young beautiful
woman walks past and catches Albert’s attention. His head moves to the direction she is facing and smiles. An A4 piece of paper with red lipstick marks on it escapes out of her bag and slaps Albert across the face. Albert’s train arrives and the fun comes to an end.
Albert is a slender and scrauny man. he usually wears a black and white suit and carries a brief case. Albert is desperate to find LOVE! but doesn't know how to. On an odd occasion Albert wears a colorful outfit. Albert has a very elongated nose, brown hair, hazel eyes and very highlighted cheekbones.
While Albert is hard at work, he casually glances out the window and sees the girl he met this morning at the public train station, littered with pigeons. He can’t believe it. It looks like she is at an interview in the building across the road. Albert starts making paper planes and throws them to the other side of the building to catch her attention but has no luck. He tries about one hundred more times but is still unsuccessful. Albert’s boss finds Albert throwing paper planes out the window and gets furious. He puts even more paper work out for Albert. Albert slaps the paper off the desk and goes running for the girl of his dreams, leaving his boring office job behind.
He goes in search of his love but has no luck. Having completely given up Albert started to make his journey home. Suddenly he is bombarded with all the paper planes that he threw out the window. They sharp paper objects start pushing him towards the train station but Albert has no clue why. He finally reached the train station and sees the girl ... he runs over to her and sweeps her off her feet.
They instantly get married and have a family.
