  1. Whats a million poem

The waves that crash on the shore,
The leaves that have hit the forest floor,
    Songs the magpies have sang,
Bullets that have gone up with a bang,
    The pages in every book,
    Those simple things you’ve overlooked,
Those tears that you have shed,
    Strawberry jam on bread,
Those eyes that blink a million times,
On the news there are more than a million crimes,
The times you’ve said yes I’m fine,
The times you’ve heard a cheesy line.

  2. What’s a million?

The amount of hairs you have on your head,
The grains of sand on the deep sea bed.
The blades of grass on your lawn,
The many times you’ve woke to see dawn.
Clouds that fill the light blue sky,
When you hurt yourself and can’t help but cry.
The students talking in a class,
The millions of pieces of broken glass.
The dust that floats through the air,
The amount of times you’ve taken the dare.
The many steps your feet have taken,
The times you’ve cooked streaky bacon.
    That’s a million!

  3. Omar - What's a Million poem

The many meteors that pass by the earth.
All the failed times trying to surf.
Every fish in the seven seas.
All of those growing on trees.
Everyone thats been hurt in the head.
All the times you’ve rested on your bed.
Every single star in he sky.
How many times baby birds have tried to fly.
    Every single rain of sand.
How many times people have shook hands.
All those penguins on the ice
How many times you roll a dice.

  4. What might you find at the edge of the world ?????????
    A talking unicorn
    A field of corn
Your best friend since you were born??
    An endless maze
    A world with internal days
What would you find at the corner of the world ??
    A highway with cars
Or a milky way to mars
The million time you have lied
A elf with a super surpass
Or a mouse with a house
What will be waiting for me at the end of the world

    What’s a million poem

    A million is…

    Grains of sand on a beach;
The grass you’ve squashed beneath your feet.

The paintings you have made or…
The amount of lollies you will trade.

    The population of the earth;
The amount of women who’ve given birth.

    The soldiers who have given battle in vain;
The average times you have felt pain.

    A million is the people who have come first;
The amount of pimples waiting to burst.

The amount of people of which can say supercalifragilisticexpelladocious
Or the amount of people who will say it’s really superfluous.

The amount of people in the world that can play an oboe.
The amount of people alive today that can use a pogo.

The amount of people in nz who haven’t heard of a loon.
Or the amount of people in the world who want to go to the moon.

And of all the things a million could be…
I hope there’ll never be a million of me.

  6. Whats a million?

The amount of times a bird has flown by
The a million times you’ve seen a kid cry
How many shoes you’ve seen someone buy
The amount of times you thought your mum was a spy
The pies that you’ve eaten in your life
and the times you’ve told a lie.

  8. A million

A million puddles on the floor
All the times you have jammed your thumb in the car door
Every single star in the sky
All the times birds have tried to fly
All the leaves falling from the trees
    Makes a million buzzy bees
Every single tear that runs down your face
Makes all the other kids embrace
For every time that someone says goodbyes
Makes lots of little tears come out your eyes

  9. A Million

For every grain of sand you see,
Theres a hundred busy bumble bees
For all the grass beneath your feet,
A little girl runs down the street
For everytime you’ve rolled a dice,
You’ve eaten a grain of sheet white rice,
For every star in the night sky,
Your very best friend has said goodbye
For every tear running down your cheek,
A million lambs are sound a sleep

One million times you have talked to me

A million cars on the road

One million times you have said “I don’t care”

A million times you have you have jumped in the pool

  11. A million stars in the sky
The amount of peoples life that pass by

The many times you have to say goodbye
It will always make you cry

The tears that flow down your cheek
As yet another family member becomes weak

The memory will be forever in your heart
The time we have to do apart

    Life is not fair
The love will always be there
    And I will always care

  12. What Is Caring

Caring is giving money to the poor.
    Or never wanting anything more.

    Donating money here and there.
Or paying for the bus fare.

Saying good morning to your neighbour.
Or asking someone for a favour.

    Helping someone who is down.
Or giving coins you have found.
