Quick fire partner writing!

Today for our writing warm-up we created a detailed paragraph in pairs based on a picture prompt.  Our focus was to extend our vocabulary choices and provide information that engaged our audience.  Check out our examples below!

  1. A petite turtle rapidly moves towards the luminous, mouth watering strawberry. Positioned on the gravel footpath, many people stop to gaze at the unusual sight. The remains of a discarded New World bag highlight where this gigantic piece of fruit actually came from.

  2. Rosie, the mini turtle, woke up to the sun gleaming down on the bushes. As Rosie was walking down the path she saw a gigantic, luminous strawberry. She looked around and saw no one so she took a slight bite into the strawberry. She thought it tasted extremely heavenly. She was keen to take another bite. So she did. That night she went home and wondered where the glorious strawberry had come from.

  3. A miniature turtle leisurely dragged along the stony path to the rich, ripe strawberry. As his head slid out of its shell, it opens its slight little mouth and takes a ginormous bite into the juicy strawberry.

  4. One wonderful day Jimmy the dog and Oscar the groomed ape went out for a stroll. On that stroll, Oscar got a massive amount of attention while Jimmy got none. Poor little Jimmy was left out and had no one to have a good time with, he was upset. Jimmy was traumatized, he thought that they made an agreement not to ditch one another.

  5. Once upon a time lived a speedy turtle and he had the need for speed. One day as the turtle was sleeping in a bush when he smelt something tasty. The smell was a juicy, red strawberry on a rock and the turtle had to have it. He thought it was dangerous but he went for it anyway.

  6. As the miniature baby turtle crawls up to the cherry red strawberry he opens his mouth wide ready to take his first bite. He sniffs the cherry red strawberry and goes in for a gigantic bite. He takes a huge chunk out of the tender juicy strawberry.

  7. A miniature turtle raced against the clock to fill his hunger. The tiny turtle has been waiting for this moment to take a gigantic bite from the rich, ripe strawberry. "Munch" as he takes a bite of the freshly picked strawberry, rushes of juicy taste fill his mouth.
